Laureen Curtis’s Yams that Matt likes

Mix together well & spread in buttered 9 x 13 casserole dish:
6 C. mashed cooked yams
1 stick melted butter
4 beaten eggs
2/3 C. evaporated milk
2 t. vanilla
Combine & Sprinkle over top of yams
2 C. brown sugar
2/3 C. softened butter
2 C. chopped pecans
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
