Grandma Packer’s Homemade Granola

Mix together:
8 C. rolled oats
6 C. rolled wheat
2 C. wheat germ
1 C. coconut
1 C. raisins
1 C. chopped dates
1 C sliced almonds
½ C. sunflower seeds
½ C. sesame seeds
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. powdered milk
Mix and add:
1 C. water
1 C. honey
1 C. oil
1 ½ t. vanilla
1 ½ t. almond or maple flavoring
Pour into jelly roll pan.
Bake in oven at 225 degrees for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
Should be soft and moist.
Place in plastic container.
