Julie’s Bruschetta

Slice:
1 loaf Crostini French Bread
The following step is optional.
Spread bread with:
Soft goat cheese
Broil
Tomato Mixture
Combine and Spread on bread:
1 C. fresh summer tomatoes, minced & drained
2 T. fresh basil, slivered
2 T. green onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T. olive oil
Splash of balsamic vinegar
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Pinch of salt and pepper

Cilantro Sour Cream

Stir together:
½ C. sour cream
2 T. heavy cream
2 t. chopped fresh cilantro

Hot Pepper Wings with Cilantro Sour Cream

Whisk together in a large bowl:
2 C . soy sauce
1 C. Dijon mustard
1 C. water
3 ¼ C. Tabasco sauce
1 ¼ C. chopped garlic
2 t. chopped fresh sage
2 t. chopped fresh thyme
2 t. chopped fresh rosemary
2 T. chopped fresh Italian parsley
Remove & refrigerate ½ C. marinade for basting.
Add, cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally:
18 whole chicken wings
Remove chicken wings from marinade and discard this marinade.
Heat reserved marinade and use for basting during cooking.
Grill or broil wings on medium-low heat turning often until just cooked through for about 15 minutes. No pink should show near the bones. Must cook slowly so glaze doesn’t burn.

Suzanne Mosman’s Artichoke Dip

Combine & bake in an uncovered 2 qt. casserole at 350 degrees for 25 minutes:
1 8 ½ oz. can marinated
artichoke hearts, drained & cut
½ C. parmesan cheese
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
½ C. cheddar cheese, grated
1 C. mayonnaise
1 t. garlic salt
1 t. chopped parsley

Aunt Kathy’s Blue Cheese Dip

Combine:
1 large cottage cheese
1 large creamed cheese
1 pkg. crumbled blue cheese
Fresh minced garlic
Fresh minced onion
Good with pretzels!

Aunt Kathy’s Spinach Dip

Combine:
2 pkg. chopped frozen spinach
1 C. sour cream
1 C. mayonnaise
1 pkg. Knorr’s dried vegetable soup base
1 can chopped water chestnuts

Hollow a large, round French Bread, saving chunks to cut into bite-sized squares.
Fill bread with dip place on tray.
Put bread chunks around outside of bread.
Eat with toothpicks or fingers.

Aunt Kathy’s Guacamole Dip

Combine in blender:
2 medium avocados, mashed
1 t. lemon juice
1 t. salt
1 ½ T. grated onion
chopped tomatoes
chili powder
Tabasco

Guacamole

Mash together:
1 ripe avocado
3 T. sour cream
1/3-1/2 C. Pace Picante Sauce
salt & pepper
