Jackie Dunstan's Chocolate Chip & Cherry Cookies

Cream:
2 C. brown sugar
2 C. granulated sugar
1 pound butter
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
Combine and add:
5 C. oatmeal
4 C. flour
2 t. baking powder
2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
Add:
2 C. chocolate chips
1 C. chopped maraschino cherries
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes
