Jeane Todd’s Soft Oatmeal Cookies
Cream:
1 C. shortening
1 ½ C. brown sugar
2 eggs
Stir in:
½ C. buttermilk
Add:
1 ¾ C. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. baking powder
1 T. salt
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. nutmeg
Add:
3 C. oats
½ C. nuts
½ C. raisins
Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
