Pumpkin Buttermilk Pancakes with Magleby’s Syrup


1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup white sugar
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
2 T vegetable oil
1/2 C canned pumpkin

Syrup
1 C butter
1 C sugar
1 C heavy whipping cream
1/2 t vanilla
